Location:
We are located on the northeast side of Highway 83 South. From downtown Zapata, go south
across the bridge to the first blinking light. We are just across the highway from the turnoff to the
Zapata County Boat Ramp at the first blinking light South of the Highway 83 Bridge.

Hours of Operation:
Wednesday through Sunday -
Winter Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also, 0pen early/late for tournaments.
Summer Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday,
Sunday: We close at 3:00 pm

Falcon Lake Tackle is just 2 doors south of the U.S. Border Patrol on South Highway 83
approximately one mile from the public launching ramp for Falcon Lake at the Zapata County
Park(First Blinking light South of Highway 83 Veleno Bridge). Fishing for black bass and other
freshwater species abound and the lake level is back to where it was prior to 1994. Watersports,
camping and fishing as well as winter-hunting opportunities for ducks, geese, quail, deer, hogs and
javelina exist around Zapata and Falcon Lake. This is truly a sports paradise with half the lake in
Mexico and half in the U.S.

Falcon Lake Tackle's philosophy of operation is to provide a source to get fishermen and
spoprtsmen back on the water and, to that end we maintain a supply of marine supplies and
components including trailer and boat parts that are unavailable elsewhere in the South Texas
area. We are available virtually anytime by phone unless we are out of town andour phone is
answered anytime we are here. We have over 5000 items available in our store and we also
have most of these items available and listed for sale on our
