Falcon Lake Tackle Bass Blast!

2014 Rules

1. A Team can consist of One or Two anglers. No one who has guided on Falcon in the last 30 days will be eligible..

2. Entry fee will be $150.00, which includes $10.00 for the big bass pot. If more than 75 teams enter there will be two places paid.

3. Registration will be at Falcon Lake Tackle on Sat. April 12th, from 5-7. There will be NO off Limits.

4. Weigh in will take place at County Boat ramp at 2:30 on Sunday. You MUST be in line by 3:00 or your fish will not be weighed. Fishing may commence at 7:00AM, and no boat may be on plane before safe light.

5. We will weigh Three Fish Only. Largemouths, 14 inch Minimum. All local and state laws must be obeyed.

6. Contestants may launch anywhere on Falcon Lake. Trailering to weigh in WILL BE allowed. Follow signs to weigh-in area at County Ramp in Zapata.

7. Rod and Reel only, one at a time. NO live Bait Permitted!

8. All fishing will be done from a boat, and all safety equipment that is available should be used, including kill switches and the use of a PFD while the boat is on plane.

9. No pale gilled or iced fish will be weighed. A ¼ pound penalty will be accessed for each dead fish. Weigh Master will determine status of fish.

10. Trolling with big motor will not be allowed.

11. Any contestant that displays poor sportsmanship, Or violates any rules stated here, or violates any State laws will be disqualified.

11-A. Anyone that has ever failed or refused a lie detector test will not be allowed to fish.

12. Any contestant may be subject to Polygraph at the discretion of the TD.

13. All decisions of the TD are final.
